The upcoming release of the 2027 BMW i3 in Australia is highly anticipated, with the mid-size electric sedan being offered in two different grades initially. For those interested in electric vehicles, the BMW i3 40 xDrive is priced at $96,900 plus on-road costs, while the higher-spec i3 50 xDrive is available for $112,900 plus on-road costs. The i3 40 xDrive boasts an 82.8kWh battery and dual electric motors, delivering 275kW of power and 520Nm of torque, enabling a 0-100km/h acceleration in 5.4 seconds. On the other hand, the i3 50 xDrive offers a driving range of up to 912km with its 108.7kWh battery pack and combined 345kW and 645Nm from dual electric motors, achieving a 0-100km/h time of 4.7 seconds.
