Googlebooks Event Speculation

Speculation is rife that Google may be gearing up to host a dedicated Googlebooks event in the near future. While nothing official has been announced yet, several factors point towards this possibility.

Recently, there have been leaks of Googlebooks models from various manufacturers such as Lenovo, Acer, and Asus. This surge in leaks coincides with the transition from summer to autumn, typically a prime time for new product launches.

It’s worth noting that Googlebooks were conspicuously absent from the recent event, which focused on Google’s own-brand devices like the Pixel 11.

Rumors are circulating that Googlebooks might make their debut at IFA 2026, a renowned tech show held annually in Berlin every September, with this year’s edition commencing on 4th September.

This speculation gains credence as Google’s partners, responsible for launching the devices this time around, typically showcase their latest offerings at IFA. However, not all partners are listed as exhibitors on the official website, raising questions about the coherence of the launch strategy amidst stiff competition from numerous other brands and devices vying for attention at the event.
