Jetour’s Zongheng G600 Previewed and its Targeting Luxury Off-Road Segment

The Jetour Chery Off-Road Sub brand Unveils the Zongheng G600: A Luxury Plug-In Hybrid SUV

The highly anticipated Zongheng G600 from Jetour Chery’s Off-Road Sub brand has finally revealed its preview images, showcasing a stunning luxury plug-in hybrid SUV. Originally introduced as a concept at Auto Shanghai 2025, this vehicle is now making its way towards production, with an estimated price range starting at around $58,000 (400,000 yuan) and going up to $127,500 (1.5 million yuan).

Upon closer inspection of the teaser photos, the Zongheng G600 boasts design elements such as high-clearance wheel arches, a striking vertical front fascia with C-shaped LED lighting, and a roof-mounted language rack. While features like digital side mirrors and hidden door handles were present in earlier prototypes, their inclusion in the production model remains uncertain, except for the digital side mirrors.

With its rugged design cues, ample ground clearance, cutting-edge hybrid technology, and premium interior materials, the Jetour Zongheng G600 enters the full-size luxury off-road segment, directly challenging competitors like the GWM Tank 700 Hi4-T, which has a starting price of approximately $62,050 or 428,000 Yuan.

In terms of power and performance, the G600 is built on the Global Architecture for Intelligent All-Terrain (GAIA) platform, shared within the Zongheng Series. It is expected to be equipped with the Kunpeng Super Performance Electric Hybrid (C-DM) system, featuring a 2.0-liter turbocharged hybrid engine paired with a 2-speed Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT). The battery architecture is likely to incorporate an 800-volt silicon carbide platform for high-speed power output, though these details are subject to change.

Anticipated to support 800-volt 4C charging technology, the G600 aims for a range recovery of 400 km in just 6 minutes. While the exact battery capacity is yet to be confirmed, the G600 is expected to offer a combined range of up to 1400 km (CLTC), positioning it competitively within the market.

The Zongheng G600 aligns with Jetour’s Travel+ 3.0 strategy and will be manufactured at Chery’s dedicated off-road production plant, showcasing the brand’s commitment to innovation and quality in the luxury SUV segment.
