Vendor Denies Responsibility for Data Breach Linked to Discord Accusations
We Clarify the Recent Data Breach Incident Involving 5CA
Recent media reports have mistakenly linked 5CA to a data breach incident with one of our clients. We want to assure our customers and stakeholders that our systems were not compromised in any way, and we have not handled any government-issued IDs for the affected client. At 5CA, we prioritize the security and protection of client data, and all our platforms and systems adhere to strict data protection protocols.
In response to the incident, we have initiated a thorough forensic investigation in collaboration with our client, cybersecurity experts, and ethical hackers. Our preliminary findings indicate that the breach did not occur within 5CA’s systems, and there is no evidence of a hack on our end. Our access controls, encryption methods, and monitoring systems are fully functional and are undergoing additional scrutiny as a precautionary measure.
It appears that the incident may have been the result of human error, which is currently being investigated further. We are maintaining open communication with all parties involved and will share verified updates once the investigation is complete.
