Beijing Motor Show 2026: The Ultimate Automotive Extravaganza

Get ready for the biggest automotive event of the year – Auto China 2026, set to take place in Beijing. Spanning from April 24 to May 3, this year’s show promises to be a spectacle like no other.

For the first time ever, Auto China 2026 will utilize two massive exhibition spaces – the China International Exhibition Centre (Shunyi Hall) and the Capital International Exhibition Centre of China. This strategic decision aims to overcome previous limitations and make this year’s show the largest yet.

With a staggering 380,000 square meters of exhibition space and over 1000 exhibitors showcasing 1451 vehicles, Auto China 2026 is gearing up to be a grand affair. The show will feature 181 world premieres and 71 concept cars, promising a glimpse into the future of the automotive industry.

The media days kick off on April 24 with more than 200 press conferences scheduled. The show will open to professional visitors on April 26 before welcoming the general public on April 28.

Major automotive brands such as Chery, GWM, and Geely will be present, showcasing their latest innovations and technologies. However, some notable absences include Tesla, Jaguar, and Land Rover.

In addition to automakers, suppliers and technology companies like BorgWarner, Bosch, and Samsung will also be in attendance. The theme for this year’s show is ‘Future of Intelligence’.

Auto China has a rich history, with the first event dating back to 1990. Held biennially, it alternates with the Shanghai motor show, offering a platform for automakers to showcase their latest offerings.
