Tech Troubles: The Pixel 11 Faces the RAM Shortage
Recent leaks suggest that Google’s upcoming Pixel phones may face a downgrade in performance compared to the current Pixel 10 lineup, all due to the ongoing global shortage of RAM. The Pixel 11 lineup, as revealed by MysticLeaks, is rumored to potentially start with a base configuration of 8GB of RAM, a step down from the current 12GB, as reported by Android Headlines.
MysticLeaks also hints at the introduction of a second configuration for the Pixel 11 Pro, Pro XL, and Pro Fold models, featuring 12GB of RAM instead of the current 16GB in each variant. While there will still be 16GB configurations available, the addition of a lower-spec model might lead to a potential price increase for the 16GB version. On a brighter note, the leaked specifications from MysticLeaks also point towards significant camera upgrades and enhanced displays for the Pro models.
