Weekend Games and Biscuit Factory Games have unveiled their latest project, Papaya Plaza, a charming city builder game set in a pixelated world.

The upcoming title, Papaya Plaza, is currently in development for Windows PC and will be available on the Steam platform. While an official release date has not been confirmed, players can already access a demo version to get a taste of the gameplay.

Biscuit Factory Games, a relatively new indie game studio, consists of industry veterans who have previously worked on popular titles such as Fall Guys and Fortnite. Their debut game, Tree Kingdoms, was launched in 2025, garnering positive feedback from players and critics alike.

The game introduces players to the role of Mayor in Papaya Plaza, tasking them with revitalizing a rundown tourist town into a bustling and vibrant destination for both tourists and villagers. By improving the town’s infrastructure and amenities, players can enhance their Town Rank and strive towards achieving a coveted 5-Star status.

Players are encouraged to approach gameplay in a relaxed and stress-free manner, allowing them to customize and design their town according to their preferences.
