Denza Z9 GT to bring BYD’s God’s Eye City Driving Tech to Europe in 2027

BYD Introduces Advanced Driver Assistance Technology to Europe with Denza Z9 GT

BYD is gearing up to launch its cutting-edge driver assistance technology in Europe starting with the Denza Z9 GT. This electric vehicle will mark BYD’s debut in Europe with the introduction of the God’s Eye City Navigation Driving Assistant (CNOA) in 2027.

At the 2026 Paris Auto Show, BYD officials revealed their plans to bring the God’s Eye system to the European market. Marketed under the God’s Eye brand, this technology is specifically designed to tackle intricate urban driving scenarios, enabling the vehicle to navigate city streets with minimal input from the driver.

It is important to note that despite BYD’s emphasis on autonomous urban navigation, the God’s Eye CNOA system is categorized as a Level 2 driver assistance feature rather than a fully autonomous driving solution. Drivers are required to remain attentive while behind the wheel and be prepared to take control as needed.

The Denza Z9 GT has already made waves as the first BYD-manufactured vehicle equipped with flash-charging technology to reach the European market. With its role as the flagship model for introducing God’s Eye CNOA, the Denza Z9 GT is poised to become a significant player in BYD’s expansion strategy.

If the initial rollout proves successful, we can anticipate the proliferation of this technology across more BYD models in Europe in the foreseeable future.
