McLaren P1 body panels from a famous collector car up for auction in USA

Rare McLaren P1 Body Panels Available for Purchase in Newport Beach

An exclusive opportunity has arisen in Newport Beach, California, where a complete set of body panels from a 2014 McLaren P1, previously owned by American collector Michael Fux, is now on the market.

Prior to being fitted to Fux’s car, these body panels were finished in a striking metallic green with exposed carbon fiber accents, showcasing the unique customization of Fux’s P1. Following an upgrade to full carbon bodywork by McLaren during Fux’s ownership, this factory-finished set stands as a rare remnant of one of the most customized P1 builds to date.

The set includes front and rear clips, bonnet, doors, rocker panels, front spoiler, and various trim pieces, essentially representing the outer skin of the iconic hypercar. Noteworthy details such as Prodrive assembly decals and a bonnet tag dated March 14, 2017, enhance the authenticity of these panels.

Encased in a wooden shipping crate directly from McLaren to Fux, the presentation of these panels elevates them from mere parts to collectible artifacts.

Currently, bidding for this rare collection starts at $55,000 with no reserve set, providing a unique opportunity for enthusiasts to own a piece of McLaren P1 history, albeit without the 903-hp hybrid powertrain.
