Alpine A110 Future makes dynamic debut at Goodwood

Alpine’s Electric Future Unveiled at Goodwood Festival of Speed

Alpine recently showcased its vision of an electric future at the prestigious Goodwood Festival of Speed. The highly anticipated Alpine A110 Future development mule made its global dynamic debut at the event, with BWT Alpine Formula One Team driver Pierre Gasly behind the wheel and the Duke of Richmond as his passenger.

The A110 Future, built on the innovative Alpine Performance Platform (APP), stays true to the essence of a lightweight, driver-centric coupe but with an electrifying twist. This cutting-edge architecture is modular, allowing for multiple body styles, while currently featuring a classic two-seat layout.

One of the standout features of the A110 Future is its innovative battery packaging. Unlike traditional electric vehicles, Alpine has divided the battery pack into a 25% front and 75% rear split. This unique design not only maintains the low height and driving position characteristic of the current A110 model but also enhances weight distribution and cabin space.

The powertrain of the A110 Future consists of a dual rear motor setup equipped with Alpine’s latest Active Torque Vectoring 2.0 system. These high-revving electric motors can reach speeds of up to 21,500 rpm, combined with advanced torque management, emphasizing agility and performance over sheer power.
