Genesis has introduced the first model from its new Magma performance sub-brand to the Australian market. Priced at $130,000 plus on-road costs, the 2027 Genesis GV60 Magma is now available for ordering. This pricing positions it $15,000 higher than the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N electric SUV and Ioniq 6 N electric sedan.

The GV60 Magma is a small electric SUV that boasts impressive outputs of up to 478kW/790Nm from its dual-motor electric powertrain. It can accelerate from 0-100km/h in just 3.4 seconds and has a top speed of 264km/h. The vehicle shares its running gear with the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N and Ioniq 6 N, including an 84kWh battery pack and electronic limited-slip differential (e-LSD).

The exterior of the GV60 Magma features a Magma Orange hero paint, a Magma-signature three-hole front bumper, black ‘Genesis’ badging, 21-inch forged alloy wheels with Pirelli P Zero performance tyres, and a model-exclusive rear wing.
