Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions 1.1.0 Sinking Reef Update
Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions has recently rolled out its latest major content update, introducing players to the 1.1.0 Sinking Reef expansion. This update brings a plethora of new features, including a fresh region for exploration, additional Gear Blueprints to unlock, and a variety of new Crew Member missions. The Sinking Reef update is part of the Life’s A Beach region rally, offering players the chance to earn exclusive cosmetics upon completion.
In the Sinking Reef region rally, players are challenged to scavenge for resources both on the beaches and beneath the waves of the newly introduced region. From Coilcup Husks to Glimmerstones, players must keep an eye out for various items to progress. The rewards are divided into three tiers:
- Tier 1 at 20% of the Goal – Bubble Head Visor
- Tier 2 at 50% of the Goal – Lily Livery Hat
- Tier 3 at 100% of the Goal – Little Daddy Mask
The patch notes for Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions update 1.1.0 include:
General:
- Enhancements to character movement for improved gliding and aiming to throw items
- Adjustments to the placement of a Malfunctioning Demolition Device in the Tangle Region

- Bug fixes for crashes on PC and consoles, including a PS5-specific crash
- Resolution for FPS drop when opening the Customizer on the station
- Fix for terrain deformation issue on Nintendo Switch 2
- Visual improvements for flora spawning and terrain interaction
Player Customization:
- Various fixes related to Player Customization items and animations
UI:
- Several UI adjustments and fixes for better user experience
The recent Hotfix also introduced the “Get Fluxed” Palette reward for players who completed Ensign Blandrew’s Mission Chain. This reward is now available in the game for eligible players.
