Adecco Group CEO Denis Machuel speaks with Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff at the Dreamforce 2026 keynote.

The Adecco Group is expanding the use of Salesforce’s Agentforce Coworker to over 40 countries after successfully testing it in the UK and France, as announced on September 15. This implementation will integrate agentic AI into the daily operations of 27,000 employees.

Agentforce Coworker, Salesforce’s AI assistant for corporate employees, is embedded in the Salesforce platform, powered by Anthropic’s Claude, and designed to support sales and recruitment tasks, such as engaging with clients and candidates.

By providing a centralized access point to data, systems, and organizational knowledge that was previously scattered across multiple tools, Agentforce Coworker enables sales staff and recruiters to streamline their processes. They can identify priority prospects, create sales briefs, enhance prospect data, and monitor lead status across teams. Recruiters can even select candidates and initiate various agents for pre-screening, recruitment, or onboarding.

Adecco Group’s CEO, Denis Machuel, emphasized that the rollout of Agentforce Coworker offers the teams a unified interface that consolidates candidate history and client context where human judgment is crucial. The successful pilot demonstrated rapid adoption within days, although specific usage and productivity metrics from the UK and France pilot were not disclosed in the September statement.

Following a long-term agreement signed in March, the Adecco Group has unlimited global access to Agentforce 360 until 2027, subject to the terms of their Agentic Enterprise License Agreement. The organization aims to have over half of its revenues powered by agentic AI by the end of 2026.

Already, agentic AI has been deployed in recruitment workflows across ten countries, representing 50% of Adecco’s business revenues. In the UK, the introduction of Agentforce 360 agents led to significant time savings, shorter time-to-fill, increased fill rates, and reduced cost-to-serve, benefiting around 27,000 recruiters.

At the Dreamforce 2026 keynote, Machuel revealed that recruiters have saved 35% to 40% of their time through agentic AI, resulting in the placement of 20,000 more individuals due to improved interactions. However, these figures have not been independently verified.

The group’s approach to AI deployment focuses on integrating AI alongside its workforce rather than imposing it on them, fostering collaboration and enhancing efficiency. The timeline for completing the 40-country rollout was not specified in the September statement, but plans include expanding agentic capabilities in key markets and offshore hubs.

The demonstration of Ada, a recruiting voice agent built on Agentforce Voice, showcased real-time application updates during a call, demonstrating the practical benefits of AI integration.

Overall, the Adecco Group’s strategic partnership with Salesforce and the adoption of agentic AI underscore their commitment to innovation and enhancing operational efficiency.
