McLaren Announces Major Changes to Road-Car Lineup

McLaren is gearing up for significant changes in its road-car lineup, with plans to discontinue the GTS and 750S models in the coming years.

The GTS:

First in line for departure is the GTS, McLaren’s mid-engined V8 grand tourer. Production is expected to continue until approximately 2027. Launched in 2019, the two-seater GT brought a touch of comfort to the brand’s supercar range without compromising on performance.

The 750S:

The V8-powered supercar, the 750S, is also nearing the end of its lifecycle. While still available for order, its origins can be traced back almost a decade to the 720S model. McLaren recently unveiled the 788HS, a limited-edition, track-focused variant that could mark the final chapter for the 750S family.

The Artura:

Joining the GTS and 750S on the chopping block is the Artura, expected to be phased out by 2028 after nearly six years in production.

These changes signify McLaren’s commitment to evolving its road-car portfolio and staying at the forefront of automotive innovation.
