Hardcore Denza Z track version spotted doing a hot lap at Nurburgring

A Sneak Peek at the Hardcore Denza Z: Is a Record Lap in the Works?

Excitement is brewing as a more aggressive version of the Denza Z was recently spotted tearing up the Nurburgring. The Chinese electric sports car seems to be undergoing rigorous testing, hinting at a possible attempt to set an impressive lap time.

This track-focused variant stands out with its striking features, including a prominent rear wing, enhanced bodywork, revised bumpers, and retractable door handles. These design elements give the car a more dynamic and aerodynamic appearance compared to the standard Z model.

Beneath its aggressive exterior, the Denza Z packs a powerful punch in terms of performance. Equipped with a tri-motor electric powertrain, this beastly machine delivers an astounding 1,582 horsepower and 915 lb-ft of torque. With such staggering figures, the Denza Z can sprint from 0 to 62 mph in a mere 2.25 seconds.

The highly-anticipated Denza Z has begun arriving at dealerships across China, with its official launch scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2026.
