UK Wellness Startup Pirkx Acquired by Pri0r1ty Intelligence

UK-based wellness startup Pirkx has recently been acquired by the publicly-listed British company Pri0r1ty Intelligence. This acquisition adds an SME-focused employee wellbeing and benefits platform to Pri0r1ty’s growing portfolio of AI-powered solutions.

The integration of Pirkx’s existing user base into Pri0r1ty’s technology ecosystem aims to improve operations, expand revenue opportunities, and strengthen its position in the SME software market using AI tools.

This acquisition is part of the continued investment activity across European HRTech, employee wellbeing, and workplace software in 2026. Various startups in this space have secured significant funding to enhance their platforms and services.

Founded in 2018, Pirkx developed a self-serve digital benefits platform that offers healthcare support, mental health services, financial wellbeing tools, and employee perks for SMEs and the contingent workforce. The platform includes services like 24/7 virtual GP access, telephone counseling, gym discounts, and retail cashback offers.

Pri0r1ty plans to integrate over 10,800 active paying members in the UK post-acquisition and leverage this SME network as a distribution channel for its suite of SaaS products. The company aims to automate customer onboarding, support, and sales processes using AI tools.

The acquisition was completed for an initial cash consideration alongside a capped royalty payment. Pri0r1ty will fund the transaction from existing resources and plans to apply its AI technology suite, including Vox, Advisor, and Compass ID, to enhance Pirkx’s platform.
