The Hidden Victory: Samsung’s Quiet Celebration Over Googlebook Absence
Samsung’s Absence from Googlebook Lineup Raises Questions
The recent launch of Google’s new line of laptops, known as Googlebooks, featured prominent brands such as Acer, Asus, HP, Dell, and Lenovo. However, one major player was notably missing from the lineup – Samsung.
Despite Samsung’s extensive collaboration with Google on various projects, including chipset components, Wear OS, and AI features, the absence of the Korean tech giant raised eyebrows. Speculations arose about a possible rift between the two tech giants.
However, recent rumors suggest that Samsung is in the works to release its first Googlebook, indicating that the delay in joining the lineup may have been a strategic decision on Samsung’s part.
The Benefits of Delay
The delay in Samsung’s entry into the Googlebook market may have actually worked in their favor. Initially, Googlebooks lacked support for Samsung Galaxy phones, hindering compatibility with the popular Android device.
Fortunately, this issue has now been resolved, allowing Samsung users to fully utilize the integration features of Googlebooks, known as ‘Better Together’.
