AppleCare Worldwide: Now Available in UK, EU & Australia
AppleCare One, a subscription plan that was initially launched in the United States, is now expanding to the UK, France, Germany, and Australia. This plan allows users to cover multiple Apple devices by paying a single monthly fee. Starting at US$19.99 per month, the AppleCare One plan covers up to three products, with the option to add more devices for an additional US$5.99 per month per device.
Although the full details, including terms, conditions, and pricing, have not been posted yet, Apple UK has indicated that the program will cost a similar amount to the US version.
The benefits of AppleCare One include coverage for up to three Apple products, theft and loss coverage for iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch, unlimited repairs for accidental damage, free battery replacement, and priority access to Apple support. Users of AppleCare One are limited to making up to three claims of theft or loss per year, but they also receive extra perks such as accidental damage coverage for associated accessories like the Apple Pencil or Apple-branded iPad keyboard.
For individuals with only one Apple device, such as an iPhone or Mac, AppleCare One may be unnecessary as it offers benefits that may not be fully utilized. In such cases, opting for a standard AppleCare+ plan may be more suitable.
While AppleCare+ coverage for individual devices varies in price depending on the model, monthly costs in the US range from $9.99 to $13.99 for iPhones, $5.49 to $11.49 for iPads, $3.99 to $17.99 for Macs, and $2.99 to $5.99 for Apple Watches. Annual subscriptions are also available, providing twelve months of coverage for the price of roughly ten.
AppleCare One is particularly valuable for Apple Vision Pro owners, as it offers protection for the Vision Pro and two additional devices at no extra cost. Users should carefully consider which three Apple devices to cover with AppleCare One, as individual coverage for iPhones can range from $9.99 to $13.99 per month, and for Macs, prices can range from $3.99 to $17.99 per month.
AppleCare One extends coverage to Apple devices up to four years old, as long as they are in good condition. Existing AppleCare plans can be switched to AppleCare One, with the new plan replacing the previous ones.
Apple is expected to release details for the UK, France, Germany, and Australia versions of AppleCare One on August 4, 2026. Additionally, AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss plans for the iPad and Apple Watch will be available in these countries, offering coverage for up to two incidents of theft or loss per year. These plans include standard AppleCare+ benefits such as repairs for accidental damage and 24/7 priority tech support. Transform the following sentence into a question:
