This innovative feature aims to facilitate the bedtime routine for children, making it more appealing for kids and less stressful for parents and caregivers. By incorporating bedtime stories, calming sounds, guided meditations, and customizable scheduling options, Sleep Studio provides a comprehensive solution for a peaceful transition to sleep.

The Sleep Studio feature is accessible to Amazon Kids Plus subscribers at no additional cost, priced at $5.99 per month. Users can also avail of a free one-month trial, while the purchase of an Echo Kids device includes a complimentary six or 12-month subscription. This subscription model makes the Sleep Studio experience easily accessible to families seeking a peaceful bedtime routine for their children.

Parents can personalize curated playlists and sleep schedules for their kids through the Amazon Kids Parent Dashboard, available as a mobile app for both iOS and Android devices. A 30-minute wind-down routine is automatically initiated on Echo devices half an hour before the child’s bedtime. Additionally, children have the option to start the routine themselves by simply saying “Alexa, play Sleep Studio.” The Echo Glow, acting as a night light, changes colors to indicate when it’s time to sleep and when it’s time to wake up.
