Bugatti Destrier makes jaws drop as it leaves Pebble Beach

The Unveiling of the Bugatti Destrier at The Quail

Last week, car enthusiasts were treated to the spectacular unveiling of the one-off Bugatti Destrier at The Quail. This exclusive model, based on the Bolide, represents the pinnacle of luxury and performance in the automotive world.

The mastermind behind the design of the Bugatti Destrier is none other than the talented Bugatti design boss, Frank Heyl. His creation left onlookers in awe as the covers were lifted, revealing a true masterpiece. However, it was when the Destrier glided past parked vehicles that its true magnificence and scale became apparent.

One of the standout features of the Bugatti Destrier is its incredibly low stance, hugging the ground with precision. The exterior design, inspired by the intricate Tourbillon mechanism, exudes elegance while the Bolide platform gives it a fiercely aggressive presence.

As part of Bugatti’s exclusive Solitaire programme, the Destrier stands as the third model in the lineup. Underneath its sleek exterior lies a powerhouse – the same 8.0-liter W16 quad-turbocharged engine found in the Bolide, delivering an astonishing 1600 horsepower.
