The new app has replaced the old one and Fitbit Premium subscription. Priced at £7.99/$9.99 per month or £79.99/$99.99 annually, users might hesitate due to the added expense despite Fitbit Air’s affordability.

A Premium subscription is required to access key software features of the new Google Health app, including the Gemini AI-powered Health Coach, described as a “game-changer” in the review.

Whoop Strap, a significant competitor, operates on a subscription model where the band is included.

However, the Luna Band enters the market as a cost-effective alternative for budget-conscious individuals.

Priced at around £115/$149, the Luna Band offers no additional fees. It comes in four colors, and Luna does not require a monthly fee for data access or advanced features.

The effectiveness of the LifeOS software in comparison is debatable. Luna’s unique approach may cater to a different market segment.

Described as a “body calendar” designed to optimize performance, it organizes your day based on Luna Band data. The “voice-first wearable” feature is exclusive to iPhone users, utilizing Siri for voice input without app access.
