Publisher Sony and developer Arc System Works have recently revealed an exciting announcement regarding the highly anticipated Marvel-themed fighting game, Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls. An open beta for the game has been officially announced, allowing players to get a taste of the action before the full release.

The open beta is scheduled to run for a total of 72 hours, commencing on July 24 at 12:00am PT / 8:00am BST / 4:00pm JST and concluding on July 26 at 11:59pm PT / July 27 at 7:59am BST / 3:59pm JST. Players will have the opportunity to experience the game on PlayStation 5 console, Steam, and the Epic Games Store. No registration is required for participation; players can simply download the open beta from their respective platform stores and dive straight into the action. Pre-downloads will be available two hours prior to the beta launch, ensuring that players are ready to jump in as soon as the servers go live.

Notably, a PlayStation Plus subscription is not necessary to access the open beta. However, players will need an internet connection and a PlayStation account to enjoy the beta on both PS5 and PC platforms.

During the open beta, players will have the chance to play as fifteen of the game’s twenty launch characters, including the debut of Blade as a playable character.
