Porsche Australia has recently marked its 75th anniversary by unveiling a special one-off creation known as the Porsche 911 Turbo S Land Down Under. This unique vehicle pays homage to the beauty of Australia through its design and appearance.

The Porsche 911 Turbo S Land Down Under is a collaborative effort between Porsche’s local division, the German automaker’s Sonderwunsch customization team, the in-house Style Porsche design division, and renowned contemporary artist Werner Bronkhorst. Together, they have created a vehicle that reflects Australia’s vast landscapes, dramatic contrasts, and unique character.

The exterior of the Porsche 911 Turbo S Land Down Under features a custom paint job with two new Chromaflair finishes – Terra Australis Red and Southern Cross Blue. The bodywork has been meticulously painted by hand over 300 hours to create a gradient effect reminiscent of an outback sunset.

The interior of the vehicle is equally impressive, with Dark Night Blue and Coolibah Brown leather trim, hand-finished Australian Silky Oak wood inlays, and unique detailing inspired by Australian nature and culture.

Despite its unique design, the Porsche 911 Turbo S Land Down Under retains the performance of the standard 911 Turbo S, with 523kW of power and 800Nm of torque from a 3.6-liter flat-six petrol engine. The car also features an eight-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.

After its debut in Sydney, the Porsche 911 Turbo S Land Down Under will embark on a nationwide tour before potentially joining Porsche’s heritage fleet. While this special edition may not be available for purchase, customers can still explore bespoke customization options through Porsche’s Sonderwunsch program.
