Zeekr Opens First Standalone Body Repair Centre in Australia

Zeekr, the renowned automotive brand, has recently inaugurated its first-ever standalone body repair center globally, and it proudly stands in Australia. The state-of-the-art facility, situated in Five Dock, Sydney’s Inner West, spans an impressive 2500m2 and boasts 36 repair bays, with the capacity to service over 150 vehicles each month. Additionally, the center can support the repair of 120 vehicles monthly, aiming for an average turnaround time of just 10 days.

The facility is equipped with eight Zeekr-trained technicians who will offer genuine Zeekr parts and a range of services, including manufacturer-specific diagnostics, structural repairs, panel and paint work, and ADAS calibration.

Frank Li, the Managing Director of Zeekr Australia, expressed his enthusiasm about the brand’s growth in the Australian market, stating, “Australia has become one of Zeekr’s most important growth markets globally, and we’re investing accordingly.” With over 10,000 vehicles delivered in less than two years, Zeekr has solidified its position as the country’s fastest-growing automotive brand and a key player in the premium EV market.

The recent launch of the world’s first standalone Zeekr Body Repair Centre serves as a testament to the brand’s long-term commitment to Australia and its confidence in the market’s potential for growth.

Zeekr’s Remarkable Growth Trajectory

Since its introduction to the Australian market in late 2024, Zeekr has delivered over 10,000 vehicles, showcasing a significant acceleration in its growth momentum. Despite a modest start with models like the X small electric SUV and 009 electric people mover, the introduction of the 7X mid-size electric SUV in late 2026 propelled the brand to new heights.

As of August, Zeekr has surpassed its competitors, including Volvo, Polestar, Lexus, Audi, and Denza, in vehicle deliveries, solidifying its position as a frontrunner in the market.

Exciting Future Plans

With ambitious plans for expansion, Zeekr aims to double its model lineup by the end of 2027. The upcoming launch of the 7GT electric sports wagon in the fourth quarter of 2026 and the introduction of the brand’s first plug-in hybrids, the 8X large SUV, and the 9X sibling, in 2027, signify a new era of innovation and growth for Zeekr.
