Exciting Updates on the Honor Magic 9 Release

The Honor Magic 9 is the highly anticipated successor to the Honor Magic 8 series, set to be unveiled in September, marking a significant departure from the previous October release schedule.

During a recent keynote address, Honor provided a sneak peek at the upcoming Magic 9, hinting at some impressive features. One such feature is the intriguing camera module, likely belonging to the Pro version, which boasts a professional camera-style ridged lens surround. Could this indicate the introduction of a rotating camera control mechanism in the new model?

The teaser image also confirms the presence of a 1/1.4-inch 200Mp sensor with OIS, suggesting a powerful camera setup similar to the one found in the Honor Magic 8 Pro’s 3.7x telephoto camera.

Collaboration with Arri: A Game-Changer for Honor

Another significant detail from the teaser image is the presence of Arri branding, hinting at a partnership between Honor and the German video camera specialist. This partnership was announced in March and is expected to bring Arri’s expertise to Honor’s flagship phones, including the upcoming Honor Magic 9.

While the Honor Robot Phone initially showcased the benefits of this collaboration with its innovative tracking appendage, it is evident that Honor is committed to integrating Arri’s technology into its regular flagship devices as well.
