Revolutionizing the Market: Audi Q4 e-tron EV Prices Slashed by Up to $18,000
Audi Australia has officially announced the launch of the 2027 Audi Q4 e-tron, following its initial unveiling four months ago. The new model comes with several upgrades, including faster charging, a refreshed design, enhanced specifications, and a significantly lower price compared to its predecessor.
Customers can now place orders for the updated range, with those opting for quattro variants eligible for a complimentary six-year, 90,000km service plan if ordered this year. The first deliveries are expected to arrive in the first half of 2027.
The base model’s price has been reduced by $13,000, although it now features less power and a smaller battery pack than the previous entry-level model. However, choosing one of the quattro models can save up to $18,000 compared to their predecessors, while also offering increased range.
The 2027 Audi Q4 e-tron lineup will kick off with the Q4 e-tron 150kW model, available in both SUV and Sportback body styles. Priced from $71,650 plus on-road costs, this model is equipped with a 150kW/350Nm electric motor driving the rear axle and a 63kWh (59kWh usable) battery. In comparison, the previous 45 e-tron range opener had an output of 210kW/545Nm and a WLTP range of 524-540km from its larger 82kWh (77kWh usable) battery.
While Audi Australia hasn’t confirmed the driving range for local models, the European specification of this variant indicates a range of 391-451km on the WLTP test cycle, depending on the configuration. The smaller battery supports DC fast charging up to 160kW, allowing the Q4 e-tron to be charged from 10-80% in just 27 minutes.
The article continues to discuss the Audi Q4 e-tron quattro model, which features a dual-motor powertrain with system outputs of 250kW/545Nm. The SUV version boasts a range of 494km, while the Sportback offers 509km, both from a larger 82kWh (77kWh usable) battery. DC charging capacity has been increased to 185kW, and the battery can be preconditioned for optimal efficiency.
The lineup includes various standard safety features such as adaptive cruise assist plus, autonomous emergency braking, side assist, and more. The new Q4 e-tron is said to offer enhanced value for customers, with additional features in the base grade.
The 2027 Audi Q4 e-tron will be available in six exterior paint finishes, including new options like Tambora grey metallic, Plasma blue metallic, and Sage green metallic. The vehicle is covered by a five-year, unlimited-kilometer new vehicle warranty and a 12-year manufacturer warranty for bodywork against corrosion perforation.
The pricing for the 2027 Audi Q4 e-tron models is as follows:
– 2027 Audi Q4 SUV e-tron: $71,650
– 2027 Audi Q4 Sportback e-tron: $71,650
– 2027 Audi Q4 SUV e-tron quattro: $81,650
