Sega has recently announced that Japan will be the latest setting for the upcoming Crazy Taxi: World Tour, a modern take on the beloved arcade classic taxi driving series.

Adding to the existing locations of Germany and San Francisco, Japan will be the third out of five maps featured in the single-player World Tour mode. The map promises a diverse experience, showcasing the hustle and bustle of modern city streets alongside the charm of historic neighborhoods. Players can look forward to visiting iconic Japanese landmarks like ICHIRAN, Kani Doraku, and SHIBUYA109, with a special nod to SEGA, a staple in Japanese gaming culture.

Hands-on previews of the game at events like Gamescom have highlighted the nostalgic and exhilarating gameplay experience. Described as a wild ride through traffic with passengers reacting in real-time, Crazy Taxi continues to deliver high-octane entertainment.
