Developer Pearl Abyss has introduced Crimson Desert Enhanced, a significant 2.0 update for the game featuring enhanced cutscenes, additional language options, and more.

The latest update is now accessible on all supported platforms, including Windows PC (via Steam), Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.

Enhanced Gaming Experience

Crimson Desert Enhanced incorporates new cutscenes and dialogues that enrich the game’s narrative flow, providing players with a more immersive experience within the world of Pywel.

This update also expands the game’s global reach by introducing five new voiceover languages – French, German, Spanish, Japanese, and Portuguese (Brazilian) – in addition to Arabic subtitles and UI elements. This allows fans worldwide to engage more vividly with the characters’ dialogues and storyline.

To celebrate the launch of the 2.0 update, Crimson Desert is now on sale across all digital platforms for a limited time. Until September 9, players can enjoy a 20% discount on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, Apple Mac, and the Epic Games Store. Existing Crimson Desert owners can upgrade to the Enhanced version for free.

Crimson Desert has received nominations in two categories at the Gamescom Awards 2026 – Most Epic and Best PC Game. Pearl Abyss will be present at gamescom from August 26 to 30, in collaboration with Samsung Electronics, offering visitors hands-on demos of Crimson Desert. Attendees can experience the world of Pywel on Samsung’s latest gaming monitor hardware at the booth located in Hall 09.1, Stand B020–C029.
