Unlocking the $100 Apple Card Co-Owner Bonus: A Step-by-Step Guide (May 2026)

Apple Card holders who have not yet extended their benefits to a partner or spouse may be enticed by Apple’s latest offer. While the company often provides sign-up bonuses for new cardholders, this promotion aims to encourage existing cardholders to share the Apple Card perks with a loved one.

From now until May 18, Apple Card holders can receive $100 of Bonus Daily Cash by adding a Co-Owner, provided the co-owner spends $100 within their first 30 days. It’s important to note that the spending must be done specifically by the new co-owner, and not by the primary cardholder or other Co-Owners or family members.

Adding a Co-Owner allows you to include a partner, spouse, or trusted individual in your Family Sharing group. While they don’t have to be a “family” member, they must be part of your Family Sharing group to benefit from Apple Card Family features. Keep in mind that any Co-Owner added will have the same level of access and control over the Apple Card account.

This promotion is similar to a previous one in 2023, where Apple offered up to $100 in Bonus Daily Cash for adding any family member. The requirement was to add multiple family members to receive the full bonus, with each family member needing to spend $25 on their own card within the first 30 days.

Co-Owners share responsibility for the Apple Card account, build credit equally with the primary owner, and must go through the same application process. Participants as young as 13 can be Co-Owners, but they are not required to make payments. However, those over 18 can use their Apple Card to establish their credit history.

Owners and Co-Owners have the ability to set spending limits for participants or lock their cards to prevent spending, all managed through the Wallet app. The Bonus Cash back offered in promotions is in addition to the standard Daily Cash rewards, which range from 1% to 3% depending on the type of transaction.

Daily Cash rewards are automatically deposited into the Apple Cash account or Apple Card Savings Account each day, eliminating the need to wait for the next statement to receive cashback. There are no minimum thresholds for receiving Daily Cash rewards.
