Warhammer Survivors Set to Launch on November 10th

Auroch Digital has recently announced the upcoming launch of Warhammer Survivors on November 10th. This exciting new game combines the worlds of Warhammer 40,000 and Age of Sigmar, offering players a Bullet Heaven action experience. Warhammer Survivors will be available on various platforms including PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 1 and 2, PC, and mobile.

For those interested in diving into the game, the entry fee is set at a reasonable £6.39 | $7.99 | €7.49. Additionally, players can enjoy a 10% launch and pre-order discount on select platforms. It’s worth noting that Warhammer Survivors will also be included in Xbox Game Pass at launch.

If you can’t wait until the official release date, a demo is now available for PC through Steam and the Xbox app. The demo features characters like the Legend of Catachan and Lyssa Revenya from Warhammer 40,000 and Age of Sigmar respectively. Players will have the opportunity to explore different heroes and their unique abilities, as well as build a squad of characters.

Warhammer Survivors is a collaborative effort with poncle, utilizing their Vampire Survivors game engine. Auroch Digital has added their own twist to the game, offering a fresh take on the Bullet Heaven genre.

The game boasts over 40 playable characters from Warhammer 40,000 and Age of Sigmar, including the original character Malum Caedo created by Auroch. With over 75 weapons to choose from, players can wield anything from Chainswords to Orbital Bombardments, along with some fun hobbyist options like D6 dice and Nuln Oil. Each level culminates in an Extremis boss battle, providing a challenging yet rewarding experience for players.

In a recent preview of Warhammer Survivors, it was noted, “Through it all, you do get the feeling of love for the hobby as a whole, embracing both the grimdark sci-fi and the fantasy settings, sprinkling a bit of quirky real-world stuff on top, and then trying to take the Bullet Heaven template that Vampire Survivors established so brilliantly, and tailor it to the setting.”
