Wolcen: Rise of the Fallen – A New Era Begins on PC and Consoles

Wolcen Studio, the developer behind the original single-player action RPG released in 2020, has recently unveiled Wolcen 2, a highly anticipated sequel.

The upcoming Wolcen 2 is currently in development for Windows PC (Steam) and is set to launch through early access in 2027, followed by a full release on both PC and consoles.

Set many years after the events of Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem, players will return to a world teetering on the brink of collapse. The game promises brutal combat, character customization without fixed classes, a unique blend of skills and gear, and the ability to unleash your Shadow Form in this dark fantasy Action RPG. Players can experience the game solo or in cooperative multiplayer mode.

In the aftermath of Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem, the world faces imminent destruction. The Warlord, a descendant of the Shadow God, and his allies find themselves entwined in a Prophecy that offers salvation to the World but demands sacrifices in return. As they embark on a quest to save reality, the Warlord and his companions, which include characters from the first game, must confront their destinies. Players will navigate a grim, dark fantasy realm shaped by reality-altering powers, a pursuit of freedom and consequential choices, and unearthly horrors beyond the rift that can be confronted alone or with a team of up to four players in co-op mode.
