The Amazon Fire TV lineup is receiving an upgrade this spring.

During CES 2026, Amazon unveiled a range of new products for its customers, including the updated Fire TV app and the Amazon Ember Artline lifestyle TV. Among these releases is the new Fire TV Stick HD, set to hit the shelves soon.

The latest iteration of the Fire TV Stick is not only smaller but also faster and more portable. Amazon highlights that it is designed to be powered directly through the TV’s USB port, allowing for a neater installation behind the TV without the need for a separate power adapter.

Despite its compact size, the new Fire TV Stick HD boasts a 30% increase in speed compared to earlier models, leading to smoother app transitions. It also introduces a refreshed Fire TV user interface and the Alexa+ voice assistant to enhance the user experience.

In the coming months, Amazon plans to introduce the Adaptive Display feature to the updated Stick. This feature enables users to customize their viewing experience by adjusting the size of text and menus while scaling up larger elements like artwork.

Priced at £39.99, the Fire TV Stick HD is currently available for pre-order, with shipments starting on April 29, 2026.
