Positive Changes in Storage Capacity

Despite the price increase, Google is making a positive change by increasing the base storage capacity for the Pixel 11 series. The base model will no longer start at 128GB, offering users more storage right from the start.

While this upgrade applies to most models, the Pixel 11 Pro XL already received this treatment last year. Additionally, the Pixel Fold models have consistently offered at least 256GB of storage since their inception.

Color Options as a Unique Selling Point

In addition to storage upgrades, color options will play a significant role in differentiating the Pixel 11 series. While the new models offer incremental improvements such as a Tensor G6 chip, enhanced screens, and camera tweaks, the overall update may seem iterative.

With price hikes and incremental updates becoming common in the mobile tech industry, the Pixel 11 series aims to cater to users looking for a reliable and functional smartphone experience, even if it may not offer groundbreaking innovations compared to previous models.
