Two and a half years after its inception, Qualcomm’s Kedar Kondap, SVP of compute and gaming, hinted at the brand’s demise, suggesting that future computers offering similar experiences may no longer carry the branding.

The decision to move away from the “Copilot Plus PC” branding comes as no surprise, given the evolving landscape of AI hardware in PCs. The once-hyped Recall feature, a hallmark of Copilot Plus PCs, failed to resonate with users, leading to criticism of Microsoft’s aggressive AI marketing tactics.
