STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl Adds Stories Untold Free Content

GSC Game World recently unveiled brand new free content for STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl, entitled Stories Untold. This expansion injects approximately five hours of fresh gameplay into the beloved title, introducing eight gripping missions, six intriguing characters, seven captivating locations, three unique items, and a powerful new weapon – the GP37V2 rifle, a modified iteration of the GP37.

The central narrative of Stories Untold revolves around a perplexing transmission that is causing distressing headaches and hallucinations among stalkers. Players are thrust into a decision-making role, aiding scientists in unraveling the enigma behind the transmission and locating its source. This enthralling mission chain becomes accessible after departing the Zalissya region, with potential initiation points scattered across the Burnt Forest. Additionally, players can establish a new hub within the Burnt Forest, adding depth to their exploration.

Aside from the enriching new content, the Stories Untold update also addresses several key fixes to enhance gameplay:

  • Rectified an issue where multiple artifacts could cluster in a single location.
  • Optimized various mutant models for smoother performance.
  • Resolved a bug where NPCs struggled to reach safety during Emissions at specific locations.
  • Prevented excessive mutant spawns at certain regions, maintaining balance.
  • Adjusted dead zone settings for DualSense controllers on PC, enhancing control.
  • Eliminated an exploit allowing players to obtain the Heart of Chornobyl artifact from regular anomalies.

STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl Stories Untold is now accessible on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series XS platforms, providing an immersive experience for fans of the franchise.
