Mercedes-AMG has recently introduced the CLE 646 Spezialanfertigung, a high-performance coupe limited to only 30 units. This road-legal powerhouse promises an unparalleled driving experience, whether on winding country roads or closed circuits.

The AMG CLE 646 is a lighter version of the current AMG CLE Coupe, shedding 170 kg thanks to the incorporation of carbon fiber. Its distinctive wide-body design features an aggressive front end, a fixed rear spoiler, and wider wheels and tires for enhanced performance.

Powering this beast is a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, delivering an impressive 646 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated to a 9-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, sending power to the rear wheels through an electronically controlled limited-slip differential. With launch control engaged, the CLE 646 can accelerate from 0-124 mph in just 11.4 seconds and achieve a top speed of 193 mph.

One of the highlights of the AMG CLE 646 is its bespoke high-performance exhaust system, developed in collaboration with Akrapovic. Not only is it lighter, but it also produces an exhilarating sound. The steel coilover suspension, a joint effort by Mercedes-AMG and KW Automotive, ensures a smooth ride.
