Battlefield 6 Season 3 Gameplay Trailer Revealed

Electronic Arts has unveiled the gameplay trailer for Battlefield 6 Season 3, set to launch on 12th May. Players can expect remade maps, new weapons, and exciting gameplay features in the upcoming season. One standout feature is a bald character who seems to be dominating the match single-handedly.

Exciting Additions in Season 3

Battlefield 6 Season 3 will introduce two remade maps inspired by Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4. Golmud Railway has been transformed into Railway to Golmud, while Grand Bazaar is now known as Cairo Bazaar. These maps have been modernized to fit the Pax Armata war setting and promise intense gameplay with dynamic destruction elements.

Players can also look forward to unlocking and using new weapons such as the L115 bolt action sniper rifle, M16A4 assault rifle, RPK-74M light machine-gun, and the PP-19 submachine-gun. Additionally, new character models have been introduced for added visual variety.

New Game Modes and Features

Season 3 will introduce the Obliteration game mode from Battlefield 4, where teams must deliver a bomb to an objective and defend it until it explodes. Players can also explore the ranked mode in the REDSEC battle royale for a competitive experience.

Looking ahead, Battlefield Studios has outlined plans for Season 4 in July, focusing on water warfare. Players can expect remakes of Wake Island and Tsuru Reef, featuring aircraft carriers with functional flight decks and a dynamic wave system. The update will also include various quality of life improvements such as custom lobbies, spectator mode, and server browsers.

With the success of Battlefield 6 in the previous year, EA aims to maintain player engagement by delivering compelling content regularly. The game’s modern warfare setting has resonated with fans, offering a fresh experience compared to other titles in the genre. However, competition from upcoming Call of Duty releases remains a challenge that EA must address to retain its player base.
