Google Home Speaker Set to Launch on June 25th

Google initially teased its upcoming Home Speaker at the Made by Google event last year, hinting at a “spring 2026” arrival, which has left enthusiasts eagerly waiting.

However, a recent discovery on Best Buy’s Canadian website seems to have unveiled the mystery surrounding its release.

As per the Best Buy page, the speaker is set to launch on June 25, just a few weeks away.

The redesigned speaker retains its fabric-covered design but introduces new color options, with Jade and Berry exclusive to the US market, and Porcelain and Hazel available globally.

Interestingly, only the latter two colors are listed on the Best Buy page, hinting at a potential staggered release for the other hues.

The addition of a light ring at the base allows for visual feedback during interactions with Gemini AI, enhancing the user experience.

Gone is the Nest branding, as Google emphasizes its commitment to seamless conversations with Gemini AI on this device.

Priced at £99 in the UK, $99 in the US, and $139.99 CAD according to Best Buy, the Google Home Speaker offers an affordable entry into the world of smart speakers.

However, to unlock the full potential of Gemini AI, users may need to subscribe to additional services, adding value to the overall experience.
