In a surprising turn of events, Milestone has announced that the release date for Hot Wheels Infinite Rush has been moved up. The game will now hit the shelves on September 10th, two weeks earlier than initially planned.

Hot Wheels Infinite Rush marks a significant shift for Milestone’s Hot Wheels franchise, as it ventures into the realm of open-world gaming. Drawing inspiration from popular titles like Forza Horizon and Burnout Paradise, the game’s world is divided into four distinct regions: Wheelswood, Tentacle Bay, Gearville, and Drifty Temples. Each region offers a unique gaming experience, from bustling metropolises to serene seaside locales.

Players can expect a variety of gameplay activities, including bespoke events and free-roaming challenges. Daredevil challenges, Delivery Stunts, Stuntman missions, Tourist photography tasks, and Find the Flame races are just a few examples of the diverse content that awaits players. Additionally, boost sections, speed challenges, drift zones, and collectibles are scattered throughout the world, adding depth to the gameplay experience.

Our hands-on experience with Hot Wheels Infinite Rush left us impressed. While the game is geared towards a younger audience, it manages to strike a balance between accessibility and depth.
