Warriors Unleashed: A PS5 Exclusive Gears of War E-Day Experience
Microsoft’s Decision to Make Gears of War E-Day Exclusive to Xbox Consoles Was Last-Minute
Recent revelations suggest that Microsoft’s choice to make Gears of War E-Day an exclusive title for Xbox consoles was a sudden decision, as the game is indeed available on the PS5. An official Xbox podcast and YouTube show featured the Gears of War E-Day trailer, complete with the PS5 logo at the conclusion.
Discovered by ResetEra user Jessie.Bristol, the video containing this information was promptly removed and set to private, although screenshots were captured before its removal.
Despite this, Microsoft has affirmed that Gears of War E-Day will only be available on Xbox and PC platforms. A statement released on Xbox Wire stated, “As part of our dedication to the revival of Xbox, we revealed that Gears of War: E-Day and Clockwork Revolution will be exclusive to Xbox consoles. These exclusives are not temporary. Titles that were previously announced for multiple platforms will remain on that path – we are committed to the growth of Xbox on both consoles and other platforms.”
