Kuro Games Announces Wuthering Waves Update 3.4 Launching Soon

Kuro Games has revealed that the highly-anticipated Wuthering Waves update 3.4 will be launching early next month.

The upcoming “The Dream Not Dreamed” update, set to release on June 8th, will feature a collaboration with Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. This collaboration includes an official follow-up to Lucy Kushinada’s story post-anime events.

Aside from the Cyberpunk collaboration, the main 3.4 update will introduce a new permanent Episodic Quest, new collaboration Resonators Lucy and Rebecca, a Night City-inspired Somnoire area, as well as new events, weapons, rewards, and more. Additionally, the iconic song “I Really Want to Stay at Your House” has been added to the in-game radio.

Here’s a breakdown of the new content and features, along with a couple of new trailers:

The collaboration with Cyberpunk: Edgerunners will bring a new storyline centered on Lucy Kushinada, serving as an official continuation of her journey post-anime events, in the upcoming Version 3.4 update of Wuthering Waves. Players can catch the archived Special Preview livestream on the official Wuthering Waves YouTube and Twitch channels to get a closer look at Lucy’s return and more details on the Version 3.4 update.

Version 3.4, titled The Dream Not Dreamed, is scheduled to launch on June 8, 2026, featuring the new permanent Episodic Quest At Dream’s Edge. Players will encounter Lucy and Rebecca in the Somnoire, facing a new crisis at the heart of the collaboration.

The update will also introduce Somnoire: Night City, a new area inspired by Lucy’s memories, along with new enemies like Nightmare: Adam Smasher and Corpo-themed foes. Lucy and Rebecca will be introduced as new collaboration Resonators, with players having the opportunity to claim a 5-Star Resonator Rebecca for free through the Instant Flashlight event.

Other collaboration content includes the Nightmare Challenge, Matrix Reform puzzle event, Gifts of Dreamchasers 10-day login event, Sweetdream Tuning rewards, new collaboration weapons Spectral Trigger and Skull Thrasher, the Reminiscence – Nightmare: Adam Smasher Echo, and the Shadow of Shattered Dreams Sonata Effect. Additionally, the collaboration track “I Really Want to Stay at Your House” will be available on the Heart Radio Channel and Archive of Melodies for players to enjoy while driving the expedition motorbike.

Leading up to the launch of Version 3.4, Kuro Games will release a series of developer interview videos exploring the creation of the update, covering aspects like level design, battle design, PV and performance, and the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners x Wuthering Waves collaboration.
