Teen Trio Nabbed for Cambridge Apple Store Heist

Three teenagers found themselves in hot water in late January after absconding with 11 iPhones, totaling 11,000 pounds (approximately $15,000) from the Grand Arcade Apple Store in Cambridge, UK.

Following a tip-off from a vigilant member of the public on Sunday, January 25, Cambridgeshire authorities swiftly responded and intercepted a white BMW, leading to the arrest of the three occupants.

Charges have been brought against a 17-year-old boy from Enfield for shoplifting and breaching a Criminal Behaviour Order, while two 16-year-old boys from London, his alleged accomplices, face similar charges for theft.

iPad Swiped in Facebook Marketplace Scam

In Milwaukee, a 17-year-old male was apprehended by police for stealing an iPad during a Facebook Marketplace transaction that turned violent. The incident unfolded on January 18, as reported by Fox 6 Now.

The victim, who was selling the iPad on the platform, met the buyer in person, only to be confronted by an individual brandishing a kitchen knife and demanding all his possessions. Surveillance footage captured the assailant sporting a Glock t-shirt with the slogan “No Gun No Fun.”

The suspect was identified and arrested by law enforcement, facing felony charges for his actions.

Texas Man’s Spree of iPhone Thefts

A 24-year-old man from Texas was taken into custody for armed robbery after holding up a seller at gunpoint during an iPhone transaction in Arlington. This arrest came shortly after the same individual stole a phone from another victim in Keller, Texas, an incident that was captured on video.

iPhone Theft Spree at Brooklyn Concert

Attendees at a December concert by Silverstein at the Brooklyn Paramount theater fell victim to a spate of iPhone thefts, with multiple devices disappearing within seconds. The rising trend of phone thefts at popular events in NYC nightlife has become a cause for concern among patrons and venue owners.

Jacqui Rabkin from the House of Yes venue highlighted the unfortunate increase in phone thefts at such events over the past two years.

High-End Gifts from Jeffrey Epstein

New revelations from the Epstein Files include the disclosure of lavish gifts, including a Hermes-branded Apple Watch, bestowed upon Kathryn Ruemmler, a former White House counsel. Epstein’s affinity for Apple products is evident in his gift-giving practices, with several emails exchanged via iPads.

Despite receiving expensive gifts from Epstein, Ruemmler has denied any form of compensation from the convicted sex offender.

Monroe Man’s Apple Device Robbery Saga

A man from Monroe, Georgia, experienced a string of Apple device thefts in December 2025, with an iPhone, iPad, and MacBook disappearing over the course of the month. The crime spree culminated in a knife-point robbery, leaving the victim without his prized Apple gadgets.

No arrests have been made in connection with these thefts as of yet.
