Revolutionizing E-Commerce: Atomic One Secures €5.6 Million for AI-Powered Automation
Atomic One Secures €5.6 Million in Financing Round for AI Operating System
Atomic One, a technology company based in Málaga, has successfully completed a two-tranche financing round, raising a total of €5.6 million. The funding will support the development and expansion of their AI operating system tailored for e-commerce brands.
The latest investment round saw Arcano Partners, through the Impacto Andalucía Innovación y Desarrollo SICC, S.A.U. fund, contribute an additional €660k, bringing their total investment in Atomic One to €2.5 million. The round also attracted participation from a group of private and international investors.
Impacto Andalucía Innovación y Desarrollo SICC, S.A.U. is a fund selected by the European Investment Bank (EIB) to implement the Andalucía R&D&I and Digital financial instrument, supported by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the Regional Government of Andalusia.
José Luis Bustamante, CEO of Atomic One, emphasized the importance of leveraging AI technology in e-commerce, stating, “Running an e-commerce brand requires analysing millions of data points and making hundreds of decisions every day. Optimising those decisions is increasingly beyond the capabilities of any human team. Our platform collects and analyses that information, makes decisions, and executes them autonomously. The result is greater profitability for our customers.”
Established in December 2021, Atomic One specializes in providing an autonomous operational layer for Amazon brands. The company develops AI agents that handle pricing, PPC, inventory, and logistics, allowing founders to focus on strategic planning rather than day-to-day operations. Their AI agent-based operating system aims to automate up to 80% of operational tasks.
The company highlights the increasing complexity of managing online brands in the rapidly growing e-commerce landscape. Effective management of inventory, pricing, advertising campaigns, logistics, and profitability demands analyzing vast amounts of data and making numerous decisions daily.
Atomic One currently integrates 13 specialized AI agents covering various functions, including inventory management, pricing optimization, advertising, supply chain operations, catalogue management, and competitive intelligence. The company is continuously developing new AI agents to enhance the platform’s capabilities.
In a statement, Cristina Reina, Managing Director at Arcano Partners, emphasized the firm’s commitment to supporting innovative companies and efficiently deploying public capital alongside private investment through Impacto Andalucía Innovación y Desarrollo SICC.
Atomic One plans to utilize the raised capital to accelerate its growth phase by further enhancing its AI operating system and expanding its team in Málaga. The company currently employs 13 professionals specializing in artificial intelligence, software engineering, data science, product management, and marketing.
