Kingdom Hearts Collaborates with Fortnite in Exciting Crossover Event

Square Enix’s beloved characters from Kingdom Hearts have made their way into the world of Fortnite, bringing a unique and thrilling crossover event for fans of both franchises.

As part of the current Fortnite Override event, players can now experience two new Kingdom Hearts Overrides under the enchanting heart-shaped moon that looms over the island.

• Recovery Override (Squad & Match-Wide): Taking down an opponent with any weapon will result in the drop of healing orbs, providing a strategic advantage in battle.
• Level Up Override (Squad): Each squad member will receive a powerful Mythic Kingdom Key at their current location, enhancing their combat abilities.

The iconic Kingdom Key weapon allows players to unleash devastating melee attacks and summon electrifying bolts to vanquish their foes. Additionally, the Sea Salt Ice Cream item offers a refreshing boost to health and shields.

During the Kingdom Hearts Power Hours this weekend, all players will start the game equipped with the Kingdom Key and a Sea Salt Ice Cream, creating a thrilling gameplay experience. The event will take place on Saturday, 19th September from 7 to 9PM UK time and then resume in the early hours of Sunday from 2 to 4AM.

For those eager to embody their favorite Kingdom Hearts characters, Sora, Riku, Kairi, and Roxas Outfits are now available in the Fortnite Shop. Each outfit comes with a unique Back Bling, Pickaxe, and LEGO Fortnite style for added customization.

This collaboration marks a significant moment in the multiverse of Fortnite, as Kingdom Hearts’ original characters take center stage in this event. While Disney boasts a wide array of characters and IPs, this event focuses on Square Enix’s intricate RPG universe.
