Google Introduces AI-Powered Agent for Daily Briefings

Google is revolutionizing the way you start your day by leveraging the power of artificial intelligence (AI). The tech giant is rolling out a groundbreaking experimental agent that scours through your emails, calendar, and documents to deliver a personalized briefing directly to your inbox every morning.

New Feature: Your Day Ahead Briefing

The latest feature, named CC, brings a daily “Your Day Ahead” briefing to your email each morning. This customized briefing, described by Google as “one clear summary,” outlines your daily schedule and highlights any important tasks or updates you should be mindful of, such as pending bills or upcoming appointments. Additionally, CC can assist you by preparing email drafts and calendar links to jumpstart your day efficiently.

Early Access for Paid Subscribers

CC is initially launching in early access for paid subscribers aged 18 and above in the United States and Canada. Google has initiated a waitlist for CC, allowing interested users to sign up for early access. The duration of the waitlist and the timeline for expanding access have not been disclosed by the company.

Powered by Gemini AI Model

The innovative agent is developed using Google’s advanced Gemini AI model, which learns about your preferences by analyzing your Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, and online activities. Users have the flexibility to personalize the tool by providing additional information about themselves and assigning tasks by responding to its briefings or directly interacting with the agent via email, according to Google.
