Claim Your $95 Payout from Apple Today
Apple has encountered legal challenges related to Siri, resulting in settlements totaling nearly $350 million. The amount could increase further as another major lawsuit is ongoing.
In a previous case, Apple agreed to pay $95 million for the Siri “eavesdropping” controversy, where human reviewers listened to recorded interactions. The practice raised privacy concerns due to the potential exposure of personal information.
Now, Apple has settled for $250 million with consumers who felt misled by the company’s promotion of Apple Intelligence and Siri features. The class action complaint alleged that Apple exaggerated the capabilities of its products, leading consumers to believe they were purchasing devices with non-existent or misrepresented features.
Initially, Apple contested the claims, arguing that the plaintiffs did not specify which advertisements influenced their decisions. The company highlighted that most Apple Intelligence features had been delivered, except for Siri with personal context and App Intents.
The $250 million settlement covers individuals in the U.S. who bought an Apple Intelligence-capable iPhone between June 10, 2024, and March 29, 2025. Owners of iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max within the same timeframe are also eligible. Notably, iPhone 17 purchases are not included in the settlement.
Each eligible device owner is entitled to a $25 payment, with the actual payout depending on the number of claims submitted. A claim website will be launched soon, and official notifications will be sent within 45 days.
Apple still faces legal challenges regarding the rollout of “Siri 2.0,” including a shareholder class action alleging securities fraud. The company is seeking dismissal of the lawsuit.
Despite the settlements, Apple has not admitted wrongdoing and remains focused on delivering innovative products and services. Consumers affected by the lawsuits will receive compensation, while the public awaits the release of Siri 2.0.
