More powerful ICE Dodge Charger coming next month

The Dodge Charger Celebrates 60 Years with a Powerful New ICE Version

The iconic Dodge Charger is marking its 60th anniversary in style, and it’s not holding back on the celebrations. Instead, the brand is revving up the excitement by introducing a new, high-performance ICE version that is set to make its debut next month.

Currently, the gas-powered Dodge Charger range is powered by the 3.0-litre twin-turbo Hurricane inline-six engine. In its standard configuration, this engine produces 420 horsepower and 468 lb-ft of torque. Opt for the Scat Pack variant, and you’ll enjoy an impressive 550 hp and 531 lb-ft of torque.

Although specific details are still shrouded in secrecy, all indications suggest that an even more potent iteration of the Hurricane engine is on the horizon. Surpassing the 600-hp mark appears to be a strong possibility, especially when considering the capabilities of tuned engine builds.

The highly anticipated unveiling of the new Dodge Charger variant is scheduled to take place at the 11th edition of Roadkill Nights in Pontiac, Michigan, on Saturday, August 8, 2026.

Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting development!
