The Luna VIII update, titled “Song of the Welkin Moon: Scherzo – Sunny Summer Fontinalia”, will be available on all platforms, offering players a host of new features to explore.

New Character and Features

One of the highlights of the update is the return of Sandrone, the Seventh of the Fatui Harbingers, as a 5-star Cryo Claymore wielder. Players will uncover the truth behind her resurrection as they embark on new adventures in the Frost Moon, a permanent new area with vast and breathtaking landscapes.

Joining Sandrone is the Stellar-Conduct, a brand-new Cryo-Electro reaction that enhances gameplay. Triggered by specific characters, this reaction creates a Polestar Field, storing energy and providing buffs to characters within its range.

Exploring the Moon

Players will have the opportunity to explore the moon, a new region beyond the skies of Teyvat. This area offers unique sights and challenges, including a luminous lunar sea, ancient ruins, and a space station suspended in outer space.

The moon’s terrain allows for gravity manipulation and varied exploration experiences. A new layered display feature will enhance navigation, showing players their current level in real time on both the moon and Teyvat maps.

Fontinalia Film Festival and More

As part of the update, players can participate in the Fontinalia Film Festival aboard the Wingalet in Fontaine. The festival celebrates a midsummer water event and features familiar characters like Charlotte, Citlali, and Sandrone.

Additionally, players can expect new outfits, activities, and rewards, including managing a ship’s aquarium and engaging in a dance challenge in Natlan.
