The Grinch 2: Saving Christmas Announced as a New Adventure Game Sequel
Outright Games, in partnership with Casual Brothers and Dr. Seuss Enterprises, has revealed The Grinch 2: Saving Christmas, an upcoming adventure game sequel inspired by the timeless books.
The Grinch 2: Saving Christmas is currently in development for various platforms including Windows PC, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, PS4, and PS5, with a scheduled release date of September 18th.
Robin Flodin, the CEO of Outright Games Group, expressed excitement about the project, stating, “The Grinch 2: Saving Christmas builds on everything fans loved about the first game, expanding into a vibrant 3D world full of festive fun and surprises. It’s a joyful experience designed to bring families together and celebrate the spirit of Christmas.”

In this new installment, the Grinch is back with a bigger heart and a mission to create the most spectacular Christmas tree Who-ville has ever seen. Players will embark on a joyful journey with the Grinch and his faithful companion Max, exploring vibrant 3D worlds filled with holiday charm.
The game features snowy landscapes like the Grinch’s Cave, Mt. Crumpit, and the streets of Who-ville. Players will collect ornaments, uncover hidden paths, and tackle platforming challenges to spread Christmas cheer throughout the town.
Players can enjoy the adventure solo or in local co-op mode, working together to outsmart enemies, solve puzzles, and decorate every corner of Who-ville. With accessible gameplay suitable for all ages, The Grinch 2: Saving Christmas promises to be a festive experience for families.
First introduced in Dr. Seuss’s classic story “How the Grinch Stole Christmas!” in 1957, the Grinch has become a beloved holiday figure across various media. This new game aims to continue the legacy of this iconic character, engaging a new generation through interactive play.
