Amazon wasted no time in leveraging OpenAI’s new partnership with Microsoft, unveiling a preview of OpenAI’s models on its Bedrock platform within 24 hours of the announcement. This move was described as a response to years of customer demand.

AWS CEO Matt Garman emphasized the significance of the partnership, stating that many customers already run production applications on AWS and trust its security. The availability of OpenAI models on AWS eliminates the need for customers to seek models elsewhere.
